After hosting a community Design Workshop focused on updates to the design of the hotel, conference center and Newberry Street layouts currently under consideration for the redevelopment of Downtown Aiken, the ADDA has released scans of the cards submitted during the event.
ADDA staff is consolidating the input into a report to share with the public that aggregates, categorizes, and organizes the raw data and will release the first draft of that report on Tuesday, June 21 in time for consideration by the CIty of Aiken Design Review Board. The DRB meets in work session Tuesday evening at 5:30 pm in room 315 of the new Aiken Municipal Building, 111 Chesterfield Street.
