Transportation engineers have completed an initial survey of Downtown parking inventory that finds the addition of a proposed garage would provide 1,503 spaces (on-street and off-street combined) within an easy walk of events, shopping and dining on key block being considered for hotel, apartments and conference center. These are preliminary numbers likely to change based on the final design of the garage and actual spaces constructed. The parking study continues, with the next step being the release of parking demand estimates related to the envisioned project. As completed, additional findings will be posted here.
